The headquarters of the National University Science and Technology Park of Fudan University are located in Siping Science and Technology Park on Guotai Road and Siping Road. It is among the first national university sicence and technology parks to be recognized by National Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Education, and ranked the 3rd in the evaluation of national university science and technology parks. Shanghai Fudan Science Park Co., Ltd. is mainly in charge of development and construction, attracting business and capitals, project investment, etc. of the Park. It was established in September 2000 by 6 shareholder enterprises with 100 million RMB registered capitals. The Park plans to build 80,000 m2 factories for science and technology industry use, and now over 200 enterprises have settled here.
