Shanghai Sijing Private Economy Development Zone features early start, great strength and solid foundation. It was launched in 1993, and has now taken shape as a private economy zone of distinct characteristics. The following is a brief introduction to our zone for your reference.

1. Advantageous Geographical Position:
  The Zone is located in the west suburb of Shanghai, 10 km from Hongqiao International Airport, 12 from subway station of urban Shanghai, 20 km from Shanghai Railway Station and 27 km from the People’s Square in central Shanghai.

2. Convenient Land and Water Transportation:
  The Zone is right beside the four fast and two slow lanes of Shanghai-Songjiang Highway, and is 8 km from the entrance of Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway, 2.4 km from No.318 National Highway. On its north runs Dingpu River; south, Sijingtang River with a sailing capacity of around 300 tons. There are 11 bus lines passing by Singjiing and the Si-Mei Line shuttles directly between Sijing and Meilong Subway Station.

3. Complete Infrastructure and Supporting Facilities:
  The Zone has achieved “Seven Traffic Clearances and One Balance” with all-rounded supporting facilities including water, power and gas supply, sewage and drainage pipelines. And its program-controlled telephones are being replaced by numerical control ones.

4. Investment Policies:
  After paying value-added and operation tax ruled by the nation, the production enterprises shall only accumulatively pay income tax up to 1.2 % (0.6% for trade businesses). The management fee of the Zone shall not exceed 3,600 RMB and the factory buildings can be bought at the price of 600-800 RMB/m2 and the rent is 0.30-0.45 RMB/day/m2. Land transference fee is 110,000 RMB/mu for domestic enterprises. And there is no time limit for land use. While for foreign businesses, the transference fee is 25 USD/m2. The transferred land can be used for 50 years.
   
5. Quality Service System:
  The zone provides services covering accounting, registered capital certification, application of licenses, opening bank account, seal-engraving, water and power supply, telecommunication and etc. It has set up an office in Shanghai, with shuttle buses, for handling any registration and licensing procedures.
