Taopu Industrial Zone shall strive to become a production service converge area where the secondary and tertiary sectors integrate and develop with productive service economy as its main feature, headquarter economy as a key promoter and city industry as foundation during the eleventh five-year plan period.

  Taopu Industrial Zone is divided into various functional areas including production service area, mainstay industry supporting area, business and management area, training center area, financial service area, storage and logistics area and forest belt.

  The business and management area is the administrative center of the whole industrial Zone, with secondary functions of education and training, Product R&D, and logistics service. Productive service function is the major one of Taopu Industrial Zone. It focuses on developing industries of Taopu Characteristics. Mainstay industry supporting area is a secondary functional area of the Zone which covers all the supporting functions. The Zone’s storage and logistics area interacts with North-West Logistics and has become the supplement and expansion of its Chapu Base. Service area and information area utilize the existing facilities to develop the information exchange interface and community public service infrastructure for North-West Logistics Park.

  Taopu Industrial Zone covers 436.7 hectares with 36.4% or 158.96 hectares industrial lands, 26% or 113.51 hectares forest belt and 3.1 % or 13.54 hectares strategic land reserve for future development. It has formed a industrial structure of productive service and industrial supporting industries as mainstay while combining research and development, design, exhibition and training.

  The International Package and Printing Base under construction focuses on promoting the development of package and printing industry and expand to the research, design, education, training, exhibition and logistics of the industry chain to become the strongest Central Business District of Package and Printing Industry in China with international brand effect and China’s International Outsourcing Service Center of package and printing industry.
