Kangqiao Industrial Zone is a city level industrial zone established in 1992 at the approval of Shanghai Municipal Government.

  The Zone is located in the center of Yangtze River Delta, 15 km from central Shanghai, 12 km from Pudong International Airport, 22 km from Hongqiao International Airport, 60 km from Shanghai International Shipping Center. It is connect with Shanghai-Ningbo, Shanghai-Hangzhou and Shanghai-Jiading and Outer Ring Highways with notable location advantage and convenient three-dimensional transportation network.

  The Zone is a major base of the micro-electronics industry belt which is centered by Zhangjiang and Shengjiang Road. It is also an important component manufacturing center for the three major vehicle industrial cities of Jinqiao, Jiading and Lingang.
