Shanghai Hanghua Comprehensive Economic Development Zone was established by Huacao Town, Minhang District, and is a land of 500 hectares by the west of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, 8 km from Hongqiao Development Zone.

  The Zone enjoys convenient transportation. It borders No.318 National Highway in the south, No.312 and Huning Highways in the North. And Huaxiang, Wuqu Roads run through it from north to south. The South New Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway passes by its west. And Line 2 Subway is only 3 km from it.

  The Zone boasts complete public facilities. There is a 35 thousand volt transformer substation in the zone and two more to be constructed. Its current water supply volume is 40 thousand ton a day. The district is equipped with two 500mm pipeline that supply 100-150 thousand cubic meter. Moreover, it has two bottled liquid gas stations and 5000-telephone capacity bureau with a 100-thousand-telephone capacity bureau to be built. Its by roads divide the zone into land pieces all of which meet the requirement of “seven supplies and one leveling”. Shanghai Hanghua Comprehensive Economic Development Zone take pollution-free, high-tech industries as its orientation and electronics and biology industries its main fields of development while welcoming enterprises from mechanics, food, clothing and textile industries.
