Shanghai Nanxiang High-Tech Park is a city level economic development zone established at the approval of the government of Jiading District, Shanghai. It is located in Shanghai’s famous historical town, Nanxiang. The town was originally called Chaxi and assumed its current name after the Baihe Nanxiang Temple built in 505 AC, the fourth year of Tianjian Period of the Liang Dynasty.
