Since its establishment in 1997, Shanghai Juyaun Economic City has attracted extensively home and abroad enterprises to invest and settled down in it. The City has also nurtured a batch of great private enterprises whose average tax amount tops the district.

  Shanghai Juyuan Economic City lies in the north of Jiading district, and is by the side of Shanghai International Automobile City and a city level industrial manufacture base. It has become the first choice for land, industrial and commercial development.

  Juyuan New District takes over 18.6 square kilometers in area and is divided into three sections, the industrial section, the business section and the living section, featuring fine layout, complete function, and convenient transportation. The district has well developed infrastructure including 35,000 volt transformer, gas pipelines linked to the city network, 10,000  volume program-controlled telephone bureau, 80,000 m2 standard factory building. Many high level highways run through the City, such as Shanghai-Jiading Highway, 204 National Highway, Shanghai Suburb Ring Highway. The terminal station of Line R3 Railway is now built in the district.
