As one of the second batch of 18 innovative industries parks approved by the municipal government of Shanghai, Shanghai Wisdom Bridge Innovative Industries Park is invested by Shanghai Keshifa Real Estate Co., Ltd.

  The approach of “overall planning to be carried out by stages” has been adopted in the development of the Park. The first stage of development was started at the site of the original Building Material Factory, covering an area of 3,220 square meters, and a floorage of 5,000 square meters, and was put to operation in July 2006 after completion. Since then, the follow-up development has been continued in the surrounding area; and now a park sprawling a span of 15 mu(2.5 acres) and covering a floorage of some 14,000 square meters has come into being, and is propelling the development innovative industries with its radiating influence.

  In order to build a first-class innovative industries park, the developer has established strategic cooperation relationship with Shanghai Jiaoda Science and Technology Park, jointly developing the Hongkou branch base of Shanghai Jiaoda Science and Technology Park. The Park will be catering to the needs of IT enterprises, including computer animation, cartoon design, game development, advertisement design, industrial design, and product design.

  The developers will leverage the “service function of the government and the mechanism of the market” in its development with an innovating thinking and pragmatic attitude, and take advantage of the favourable features of Hongkou District and indeed Shanghai---the garden-like environment where network-based and intensified operation can provide innovative design enterprises and personnel with all-encompassing, efficient, quality and professional services. With new thinking and new services, developers are to connect the innovative industries, by building an important platform for the innovative design enterprises, R&D bodies, and institutes of high learning to exchange ideas and research achievement, promoting the integrated development of industries, high learning, and research.  These constructive efforts will be boosting the innovative ability of design, and the design expertise, eventually facilitating the accumulation of innovative industries.
