By the end of April this year, there were total 443 mainland enterprises going public listing in the main board and GEM of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, with 148 of H shares, 93 of red chips, and 202 mainland private enterprises of non-H-share.

According to the latest statistics of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, the mainland stock shares was 58.6% of the total market value in Hong Kong and 74.2% of the total market turnover. By the end of April this year, Hong Kong boasted 1244 listed companies with total market capitalization approximately HK Dollar 1.8tn. During the first four months this year, there was one enterprise newly going listed in Hong Kong. By the end of April this year, there had been 4,808 derivative warrants, 260 callable Bull/Bear contracts, 26 trust funds and 173 bonds.
