Following the reforms and opening drive in China, particularly the founding of the state-level Hongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone here in 1986,Changning has attracted many overseas investors and expatriate professionals to settle down here on the merits of its fine transport infrastructure, nice ecology, profound cultural heritages and full-fledged community services.

All of the efforts will pave the ground for it to ultimately emerge a global district of the city.
