Founded in December 1986, Shanghai Rubber Industry Trade Association (SRITA) is a cross-sector, trans-ownership and non-profit industry organization as legal person organized voluntarily by rubber processing enterprises and institutions in Shanghai.

  SRITA currently has 90 members of various ownerships engaged in production and trading of auto tyre, cycle tyre, bicycle tyre, rubber shoes, adhesive tape, hose, rubber products from various types of rubbers and for diverse uses, rubber machinery, mold and rubber materials, boasting famous brands such as Double Coin, Warrior and Camel and accounting for over 75% of the total production and sales volume of the industry in Shanghai.

  With the mission of serving the members, SRITA is committed to meeting the expectations and demands of the members, protecting their legal rights and interests, abiding by the Constitution, laws, regulations and policies of the state, complying with the social morality, and acting as a bridge between the government and enterprises.

  SRITA also provides its members with information via its Rubber Industry Information (monthly), and organizes visit and exchange activities annually according to the Friendly Cooperation and Exchange Agreement signed with Taiwan Rubber Industry Association. The board of supervisors is responsible for supervising the work of the SRITA Secretariat.
